Heading For Surgery

Prior to her last trip to Sloan for injection #2, Fiona had her first ever birthday party with her friends. She had seven guests from her school and the neighborhood. The Story Lady came to the party to provide the entertainment. She was a big hit with the children. This is Fiona with the Story Lady, holding a baby puppet.

This is Fiona at the Ronald McDonald House, on the day of her actual birthday, the 22nd, opening some of her many cards. Little Fiona, her American Girl doll, is helping her.

Fiona was back in school at the beginning of this week, but she will be heading to Sloan again this week for surgery on Friday to remove the mass in her abdomen. We should have an update on Saturday about how the surgery went.
